Unitary Republic of Indonesia (NKRI)-Malaysia Border region in the village of Seagulls Moon, West Kalimantan, still in
the area of maritime boundary negotiations. Foreign Ministry Spokesman Michael Tene said “Indonesia and Malaysia have the boundary waters in the region of West Kalimantan.
Currently, the two governments are still negotiating maritime boundary and EEZ in the area. Negotiations will then take place on October 16 to 18 next,” said Michael Tene in Jakarta. This disclosure statement responding to members of Commission I of TB Hasanuddin who said the Indonesian territory of West Kalimantan bordering Malaysia decreased by 1,400 hectares in the area of Seagulls Moon, and 80,000 square feet in Tanjung Batu.
