Borneo Jazz Fest

Borneo Jazz 2012 will be held on May 11 and 12. The festival is held in the city of Miri in northern Sarawak, a Malaysian state on the island of Borneo. For the first time in the festival’s seven-year history, the fest will feature a craft bazaar where tribal artisans (Sarawak has a large number of tribes) will demonstrate and sell their products. Musical artists this year include the French singer/songwriter Tangora, Thai saxophonist Mr. Saxman, and the Dutch band New Cool Collective.
